ABOUT ME

Married and father of a daughter and a son. We try to enjoy the daily amazing life in our village. It's a big advantage to have some time left as a retired school teacher. I love being with people of all ages and I also like my own space.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We offer our hospitality and we hope more people
will join this excellent network. I can definitely show our guests around. Since I am retired, my time is flexible. I am usually an early-to-bed and early-to-rise person. I have blankets and bed linens for people to use.

One of my goals in being available as a host is to spend time with people and get to know them. For that reason, I do not accept people who ask for only one night, as that does not give us enough time to know each other. I prefer to start with a two-day visit and then see how it goes from there. You should be prepared to participate as a fully contributing member of our household.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only once I relied on people’s hospitality for a long weekend in December 2010 at Cambridge which I enjoyed very much.

I like nature, reading, walking, all sorts of music, cooking, wine tasting , gentle surfing (Internet), meditation, doing nothing ...
