ABOUT ME

I'm such a laid back and relaxed guy, I barely make it off my couch to travel the world. I have a pretty odd and active sense of humor. I say whatever is on my mind. Literally. I get along with just about everyone I meet. I'm currently staying with my parents, but we have two spare rooms.

PHILOSOPHY

I follow 3 rules.

1. Get lost as often as possible
2. Never bring an umbrella or poncho when it's about it rain
3. In a foreign city, walk instead of take the bus/train.
4. Their is no fourth rule.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I may or may not be hosting. It all depends on if my parents are up for having some random guests stay in their home. Currently I am not working, so if I can't host you, I'd still be able to play tour guide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had really good experiences with meeting CSers in hostels, day hosts, and hosts. Good people all around.

Interests

Going to museums, music, reading, running, exploring and by exploring I mean purposefully getting lost, computer games, food, good conversation, and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy reading about science fiction, fantasy, spirituality, and whatever else I manage to find time for. In terms of music, I like a large variety. Hip hop (mostly good mainstream hip-hop or underground), indie-rock and pop, electronic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Is it cheesy if I say tutored six first graders for 10 months and seeing them progress over that time? Yes? who cares? lol

Teach, Learn, Share

Check out Servas if you're interested in a much older version of CS. It's 60 years old and most of the hosts are older. As much as it's nice to hang out with people my age, older residents tend to have much more experience and knowledge about the histories of the places they live.
