I'm Aussie, and been here enjoying the Glasgow weather for about 9 years. We're vego, and love bikes ;)

Prior to arriving in Glasvegas, Gaby and I had been off slowly touring around the world on our bicycles. We managed about 1/3 of a lap of the world, through Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Mexico, the US and Canada.

Life is short - play hard and do good.

Industrial farming and the diesel consumed in production is environmentally unjustifiable - go vego !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In Canada we surfed for a few weeks, and/but here in Glasgow we're often up for hosting and socialising...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While cycling in Canada a while back we surfed several times and had a blast. Now that we're settled in Glasgow we occasionally host wandering surfers.

Intereses

Roughly and miscellaneously I'm interested in Sculpting,Cycle-touring, uni/cycle politics, tinkering, outdoorsy stuff, languages, itinerant world travel, Scouting and the SCA....

And I loove to travel. I guess I've visited thirty-something countries so far, and really find the various cultures of our little flying-through-space monkey ball very intriguing...

Música, películas y libros

My favourite music runs to The Lost Fingers, Weird Al, Metallica, Midnight Oil, Apocalyptica, Madonna, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Pink Martini, Mylene Farmer, Lilly Allen, and AC/DC. I love to read - mostly fiction by the likes of Robert Ludlum, Tom Clancy, Roadl Dahl, and Robert Heinlein. My favourite films are such as those of Luc Besson, and Charade, James Bond, Clint Eastood, x of the dead, Tank Girl, the Blues Brothers, anything by Tim Burton, and maybe even Borat...
