ABOUT ME

I love to travel and love any type of job that allows me to do so. Have lived on 3 continents, traveled to another 2, and enjoy happy people.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that traveling makes us stronger. When everything goes wrong on a trip, we learn a lot about traveling, a lot about ourselves, about strangers we meet and the people with whom we are traveling. It forces us outside of our comfort zone, which in turn makes us more prepared for things in the future. I have had some amazing trips, and the ones that weren't great trips make for great stories!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had a few couch surfers, surfed a few couches, met people who also live in my city, and one of these days i am going to make it to an event!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have wanted to try couchsurfing since my grandmother told me about it years ago. It took me a few years to finally join, but it is a great way to see the world and have an exposure to a culture through an insider's knowledge that money can't buy.

Traveling (obviously), writing, playing billiards, hiking, camping, biking, swimming, snorkeling, skin-diving, horse-back riding, cooking (and eating!), reading, linguistics/languages, writing, spending time with friends, riding on trains, visiting people, snowboarding, and anything fun.

I can do an amazing taxi-cab whistle that is guaranteed to call attention. I can say "don't touch me" in 7 different languages. I know a lot about traveling. I am always good at presenting the other side of a story. I can cook fairly well, though I tend to only cook vegetarian cuisine or seafood.
