Hi! I am a professional wilderness photographer and I travel a lot for that. Wilderness photography means I'm usually way off the beaten path and sleeping in a tent, so if I'm couchsurfing it's usually because I need a quick respite from my camping or because I can't find a free place to camp in a city.

Some interesting facts... my longest trip camping was 4.5 months. I've walked 32 miles across the Grand Canyon in a single day. This summer I'm working on a climate change awareness project and will be attempting to walk from the western coast of Greenland to the polar ice cap solo and unsupported. I'll let you decide if all this makes me crazy or not 😉

Update: the Greenland trek had some serious challenges. Just ask for the story! However, I'm not deterred just yet. I'm returning to Greenland for the summer of 2021 to co-produce a documentary about its indigenous people and their adaptations to climate change.

I am just a positive and upbeat person who loves the outdoors. I believe that even the most mundane things in the world can become an adventure with the right mind set!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people, hear great stories and ultimately pay it forward. Life can be summed up by our connections both with people and our world. I want mine to be full of interesting ones!

I enjoy being outdoors a lot, but I live in close proximity to the city so exploring the urban jungle can be fun too!
