About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience as much as possible in the time I've got!
ABOUT ME
2018: Living in Central NSW with my husband and 2 children, working part time as a private music teacher (brass instruments). Travel is infrequent these days, sadly!
2011: Currently spending three months travelling over land with my husband from the UK to Australia, after living and working in Bristol for the last 20 months. Planning to cram as much travel as possible into the next few years!
I grew up in a small country town (and I mean small - population 400) in NSW, Australia. I moved to Sydney for 5 years while I was at University, first studying Music then I completed my teaching qualifications. I wanted to travel before I settled down so re-located to Bristol, England to live for a few years. I spent my time in the UK working to earn money to travel, and have no intention of stopping when I leave!
PHILOSOPHY
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. (Mark Twain)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To 'pay it forward', and share the rural Australian life with travellers.

Travel, seeing new places. Eating. Learning. Music (although I don't know as much as I should). Languages (although I am still trying to learn more than English). Cooking. Photograpy. Hiking. Sewing. Knitting. Crochet. Cross Stitch. Creating.
