New to Couch Surfing but have been a believer in the concept of cross cultural exchange through exchanging accomodations and local knowledge with fellow travelers. My wife and I spent 2 years travelling through Africa, Europe and the Middle East and also lived for 10 years in Tokyo and Singapore. In our travels, our richest and most memorable experiences involved staying with local people and learning about their daily lives.

I have received so much kindness and generosity in my travel experience and I hope to continue to spread the joy to others.
