About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be Fascinated. To treat people better and better. To exercise self-discipline.
ABOUT ME
I think my friends would say that I'm someone with a lot of energy who is happiest exploring and learning about the people and place around me, exercising, and having new experiences. I can be a little frenetic and have trouble focusing at times. I love when unexpected situations happen and turn out to be perfect.
JUST TO BE CLEAR MY HOUSE IS VERY FAR FROM NYC!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've surfed all through the balkans, in florence, and also flagstaff and burlington. Couchsurfing has been nothing but I great. Not many people travel through my rural area but i have josted a few and had great conversations. Before couchsurfing i was a seasonal worker for the national park service and was always staying with friends, friends of friends, new acquaintances, etc. I've met lots of great people that way.
Interests
Mountains. I love to be outside and up high. I like getting new perspectives on the land and underlying geomorphology.
Language. Every word is important and putting them together is even better
People. Experiencing the generosity of humanity and everything else good and bad that it takes to be human. Ive had really good experiences hitchhiking, it makes me feel like an anthropologist.
I love to write, play basketball, read, connect with friends, and to feel like I'm doing things my own way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the summer Olympics, The moments before the Utica boilermaker (a 15k roadrace), The first month of a relationship, my friend Carlos' family in Baja Sur, Halloweens, themed dance parties in Stehekin WA, getting above the clouds in the Cascades, Traveling in New Zealand, real conversations in Spanish.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn about alternative energy. I'm considering wind turbine technician programs in Cheyenne and Iowa. I'm slowly improving my Spanish. I hope to live in Latin America sometime so I can really work on it. My family operates a creamery so I know a fair bit about cheesemaking. I know a lot about chainsaws, rigging, and blasting.
