ABOUT ME

Right now I'm a traveling musician, working part of the year and traveling and recording the rest with several bands like 'Equinox the peacekeeper', grunge band 'Firefang' and my own project 'A drifters heart' ) When I'm not touring I live in Ghent and fix bikes for a living. I also make videos, treehouses and hats...

I consider myself radical, queer positive and
I am involved with environmental issues and have been a treesitter and organic farmer/food forest designer/planter. I have wwoofed and done volunteer work from Canada to South Africa and have extensively hitched and bummed around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have fun and make as many beautiful connections as I can... I have a lot of friends and can hook you up with cool people in many places - share ideas and positive thoughts. When surfing I can do your dishes, clean, provide musical and conversational entertainment, or just be totally unnoticable and out of your way...

Everybody's welcome once I have my own place again ( I'm on the road for now)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Loads with or without CS - squatting, sharing and hosting

I have also intensely wwoofed for 2 years and then hosted wwoofers on a communal farm I have run with a good friend of mine, where we do a study center on agroforestry and forest gardening.

Interests

Life really... to live it, deeply, thoroughly, sensitive and humble, exalting and soaring high, crashing deep and once again rising upon one's scars, unto the utmost emotion. The polarity in life is not to be discussed, it is to be lived.

My favourite books include The Red Book, On The Road, the DHarma Bums, A lot of the Castaneda Books such as The lessons of Don juan, I love Aldous huxley, VIrginia Woolf, ALbert Camus, The marriage of Heaven and Hell by W. Blake. The never ending story by Michael Ende, I love a lot of Alan watts, I love Martin Buber and so on...
