I'm a Spanish girl who arrived to Finland almost 3 years ago.
I'm in Finland because my mother is finnish, but I spent all my life in Spain, so I am very interested to re-discover my roots, traditions, and everything about this country, also I am studying finnish in my free time.
I love Art,music, cinema...and I would like to enjoy this kind of things in Helsinki, meeting people interested in them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, difficult to mention all the bands I like, But We can try with: Led Zeppelin, Elder, Alice In Chains, Fiona Apple, Pj Harvey, Graveyard, Ani DiFranco, Hellacopters, Radiohead... I fall in love with LP's Records Shops in Helsinki, these are amazing!
My favourite director of cinema is Ingmar Bergman, he talks about human relationships, but not always is the best time to see his movies, so... I like science fiction movies too where they can imagine about other worlds and opportunities, are very interesting ... like Another Earth by Mike Cahill or Solaris by Tarkovsky, Coherente by Ward Byrkit ,Predestination by Michael Spierig.... I like also the humour in Kaurismäki's Films, he is very peculiar.
About books...sometimes I am a disaster try to finish a book because there are always a lot of things in my head and I need to concentrate very much. Now I am reading a book of Caitlin Moran "How to be a woman" .She is feminist and writes in a very funny way all the things that happen since you are a little girl, in this crazy world. Other book that I like very much is the biography of the songwriter of the music band called Eels, and White Nights of Dostoyevski.

There are a lot of Galleries in Helsinki where I haven't been there yet!and also concerts, I would like to go soon to some concert, in Barcelona,where I was living the last 3 years, I always went to 2 concerts per month at least.
