Well...! I am Tamara, from the UK but currently living in beautiful Tokyo until end of February. After that, there is no plan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to host people in Tokyo once I have an apartment sorted (not until January). Honestly, I'd mainly like to host anyone who speaks German or Japanese as these are languages I am learning but I really am happy to meet with all cultures!

Maybe you can also lend me your couch one day?!

Music, Movies, and Books

Nostalgic music inspires my inner child. You can usually find me listening to Studio Ghibli music by Joe Hisaishi e.g. The Rain, Always with Me and Sekai no Yakusuko. Music from video games such as The Legend of Zelda, Sonic the Hedgehog and Lemmings bring my heart to life!

Quit my job, left my car and sold my house to get to here - Japan.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a pretty decent cook - if you don't mind vegan food ;). I can teach you a thing or two about Japan, South Africa, Germany and all the main languages of these countries.
