About Me

~I have a deeply hidden and inarticulate desire for something beyond the daily life.

**
Rebellious bookworm, junior skiing champion and one hell of a people's person.

After a lifetime of teenage years spent trying to define myself, I realised I'm an oxymoron, trying to fit into the square-shaped mold of life, while being a hexagon (or octagon, depending on the weather).

I need another lifetime to enjoy all the music, good food and burning sunsets. My mind is a restless machine of thoughts, memories, and embarrassing scenarios of self, so I frequently tune into another realm - whether it is a book, or an imagined beach scene.

For around four years, I've been a member of a student organisation - BEST, which broadened all the horizons I thought I had, and offered me a lifetime of experiences, friends, and places to see.

Me and travelling alone hit it off when I was 19. We're still uncontrollably in love.

My day can be made by laughing to tears with funny animal videos, a perfect meal, or a nice view.

P.S. I hope you like feminist rants, 'cause that's kind of my thing - Jess (or me, probably, at some point)**

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel like a local, and share stories.

Unfortunately I cannot host at the moment, but I am always up for showing the city and having a beer (or two) if i have the time.

Interests

There's hardly anything that I'm not even slightly interested in, but my life's mostly been about skiing, volleyball, random extreme sports, books, science, more books, animals, collecting memorabilia, stories, TV shows, taking (and looking at) photos, eating, cooking, dancing (a lot), stargazing, and beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

At around this time, my favourite
*MUSIC is the one that
a) I can zone out to and/or
b) dance expressively,
*MOVIES are the ones that make me
a) cry in a pillow and think about existential matters, and/or
b) laugh loudly and heartily
*BOOKS are the ones that
a) make me forget about my surroundings and/or
b) spark ideas, motives, and revolutionary ways to improve the planet.

P.S. I hate vagueness.
P.P.S. Who said anything about oxymoron? :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

:)

Teach, Learn, Share

There's something about 'switching personalities when switching languages', so I tend to learn as many as possible. I tend to pick them up easily, and it has brought up for quite some funny stories with locals during my travels. :)

I'd really like to learn how to play an instrument.

I absolutely enjoy dancing, and I'd love any lesson in that field!

Share - stories, experiences, fears, doubts, love.

What I Can Share with Hosts

:) The memories of a nicer, warmer, more beautiful Skopje.
Also, fun (and mostly useless) facts, random animal videos :3 and some good food.
