True Crime books are my favourite but I’ll read anything I can get my hands on.

As for films, I doubt you’ve ever met anyone who is as clueless about films as I am 😄 but I love a good series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

🌏 started solo travelling at the age of 15
🚶🏻‍♀️took 100,000 steps in one day
👩🏻‍🏫volunteered as an English teacher in a buddhist monastery in northern India
🥾hiked the Camino de Santiago from France all the way through Spain for 935km
☢️been to Chernobyl
🪷met the Dalai Lama
✈️visited 82 countries (many more to go 😊)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about new cultures, finding similarities between Switzerland and other countries, telling people about my life here and hearing about theirs!

I’m attempting (!) to try and learn Arabic so if you can teach me a word or two, I will greatly appreciate it! 🙏🏼

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a shared flat with two roommates and travel outside of Switzerland a lot, therefore I cannot always host guests. If I can, I can provide a couch to sleep on, a kitchen and a balcony that you are free to use plus WIFI.

Even if I can’t host you, when I’m not abroad, I’m happy to meet up for a tea or a hike somewhere in Switzerland. I used to work for the train agency of Switzerland and the airport in Zurich so if you have any questions or need any tips for your trip - feel free to message me here or on instagram (tamnjh)! 😊
