Hey, my name is Tamara, I am from Bavaria in Germany and currently living in Vienna, Austria.
I love to travel, to read, to talk, creative stuff and to cook! I can party all night, but also appreciate the quieter nights just as much! I love cities, with all it's aspects - but having been raised in a little village I also love to be surrounded by nature!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love it! Couchsurfing is amazing. I am so grateful for the friend that recommended it to me. I've done a little bit through Europe and Central America so far and plan on doing a lot more!

Interests

I enjoy to spend time with people, hiking, dancing or simply conversing about life. And I love food! I am a vegetarian and there is nothing better to me than trying food from different countries!

But I also like to be by myself. Then I like to read, draw or to go for a run. I've been really into Yoga lately! I go about once or twice a week and enjoy trying new styles! Also I am quite into meditation, as I can feel the positive impact it's having on my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love pretty much all types of music. Indie, Hip hop, Latin, Reggae, are my favourites beyond others.

Movies: I don't watch a lot of movies or TV, but I do love going to the cinema every once in a while. (Good) ones I've seen lately: Joy, Colonia, Point Break.
Not to forget Grey's Anatomy and the German "Tatort" - these two are my weaknesses!

Books: I enjoy reading and taking time my to do so.
I am currently into "Open Veins of Latin America" by Eduardo Galeano.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook and bake, chocolate-coconut-brownies or banana bread are my favourites! Oh and I can teach you to make a decent caipirinha!

I am really into languages and always happy to learn some words or sentences in your language! Of course I can teach you some German if you'd like to!

I like a good glass of wine and good stories you would share with me!
And if you could practice Salsa with me, I would be thrilled!
