About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Looking for social events and group gatherings in Rome this week.
ABOUT ME
I'm a very proactive person - I'm into salsa dancing on some evenings and it gives me so much energy the next day, and I dream of being an international salsa dancer (it would be a great job). I like to work as it fulfils me and gives me purpose, and money to travel and treat myself to some Starbucks, or a nice restaurant! I do love to cook as well. When meeting people, I like that spark that turns it instantly into a friendship. I love talking about travelling, culture, hobbies and life in general! I enjoy talking over a cup of coffee with my friends.
PHILOSOPHY
I think that, to take the risk and go for your dreams is better than playing it safe and being unhappy. I'm taking the risk.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read, I like the classics. It's hard to get started reading though, but once I do it I can't stop until I'm finished. The most recent book I've finished was To kill a mockingbird.
As for music my palette is varied but I really don't like heavy metal. I'm a salsa dancer so of course latin music is very uplifting, and bossa nova is great too. I like music with soul, poetical/ philosophical lyrics, Lana del Rey is one of my favourites but I love the golden oldies Frank Sinatra and Marvin Gaye have to be in my playlist.
Movies in general for me have to be uplifting, so none of that evil exorcist scary stuff. A great comedy, even stand-ups are so good I just love it. I'm a bit of a boy too because I like action too, the marvel's iron man etc! Fast and furious movies, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first amazing thing I've done was be born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! I have a lot of great things to tell about my native city. I've travelled a fair bit too, I want to travel even more if possible.
I've learned to dance in under 2 months, and everywhere I travelled I went looking for dancing. I danced in Barcelona, Amsterdam, London and Edinburgh and other cities in the UK. It must be in my blood! =D
I have painted a lot in my younger years too, I did fine arts for a long time so I have a collection of paintings all stuffed up in the attic because I can't let go. I have an emotional attachment to them, as if they were my children.
I've learned to play the piano when I was younger too and I have done for a few years, I have played concerts. But I've stopped to go to university because I wanted to move out and be independent! It turned out I did a degree that I don't want to work in now =D
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a passion for learning new languages because I enjoy communication so much. If it weren't for my languages, I wouldn't be able to make as many friends as I can today. I have French, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian all under my sleeve. I also love dancing salsa. And if someone wants to learn I'm the best person to ask because I will open the doors to this amazing world with a lot of enthusiasm, because I want to spread this joy. Dance is the best antidepressant.
I'm a foodie, good food is the only thing I can know! So cooking a great meal for friends is always a great pleasure, because I can cook foods from all over the world.
