Hey Guys!

I'm currently on a round the world trip.

After living and working as a journalist in Melbourne, Colombia and Mexico, I am now driving a motorbike across the US... and everyone says I'm crazy to be doing it!

Before here I was in Nepal, Malaysia, China and have hitchiked down Australia, and up all of South America.

I love nothing more than being immersed in a new culture, especially when that's away from main tourist sites, which means hanging out with locals is what I strive for. I also have some great stories to tell from my adventures

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Nothing compares to cooking meals, sharing stories and meeting new people as opposed to staying in motels. There is a true magic in the encounters you make along a solo journey, and it is the people that will frame the memories of my adventures. I hope you can be part of my story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed a mountain in the Himalayas

Camped on the Great Wall of China

Paragliding in Nepal

Hitch-hiked the east coast of Australia.

Danced Tango in Buenos Aires.

Lived in the worlds oldest rainforest.

Hitched a boat ride with fishermen to a remote island that was inhabited only by a sustainable nomadic travelling group.

I know the very basics in firespinning, and it's quite easy to pick up!
