About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm living in California and I help students practice Spanish and learn about my culture. This is my second time doing this and I'm super excited about meeting as many wonderful people as I met the last time I was there. I'm looking forward to travelling more in the US and maybe Mexico or Canada.
ABOUT ME
I love going out and drinking, but I also enjoy being on my own and just chill. I want to meet new people and see the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Make the most of whatever comes, it's all about perespective
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to get the real feeling of the places I visit and meeting the locals is the best way to do this. I don't often get the chance to travel so when I do I want to make the most of it.
Interests
Reading, music, language learning, language teaching, I'm currently learning French and Portuguese, meeting new people, basically my main interest is to enjoy life to the fullest.
Right now I'm very much into Portuguese, I truly want to meet more people that speak it and continue to learn it!
I enjoy talking over a good meal and drink. I'm not so much of a museum person.
I love doing Yoga, ever since I started about two years ago, it completely changed me. I'm more relaxed in general and I don't get stuck with silly details anymore. It has taught me about letting go and accepting things as they come.

Books:
Pride and Prejudice, Life of Pi, Nocturno de Chile.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hanging out with miners in Potosí, Bolivia. They welcomed me into their homes and shared their lives with me. Afterwards we went into the mine and that was definitely mind-blowing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to share my culture and learn about how others view the world.
I recently took a class about the difficulties and mistreatment that Latinos have suffered in the US and it was truly eye-opening. It taught me the importance of learning and experiencing the perspectives of others and how to accomplish that.
