About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get the hell outta here!

ABOUT ME

Oh gosh, you know, I just don't feel like talking about myself right now! But I'm an open book : ) I love animals, exploring, deep conversations, watching movies, chilling out, the water, wandering around new areas.

I think and feel a lot... I'm an observer, inside and out : )

PHILOSOPHY

I think I'm still trying to figure this out... I mean, that's probably the way it will always be. So maybe that's my philosophy... Always trying to figure it out! Or maybe I've figured it out, but not my place within it ; P

In the words of Anthony de Mello 'Awareness, awareness, awareness'!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a relative newbie... I've had some couch surfers stay, and had some great first couch surfing experiences in Canada, so far, so great!

I like to give what I can - my energy, my time, my compassion, my cooking and my conversation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'd only had the pleasure of hosting couch surfers until recently, which was a great experience. Excellent conversations, good vegan food, and a family atmosphere. Having had my first experiences in Montréal, Canada, I have thoroughly enjoyed it, and it has made me all the more excited to continue couch surfing the globe! It's such a beautiful enriching experience meeting a local and learning about the in's and out's of their hometown, and the joy of having someone to talk to, and share experiences with. It's like having a home away from home, and if you're lucky, a family to go with it : )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered with an elephant in Nepal, and her beauty, intelligence and emotional capacity just astounded me. I feel blessed that Madukali allowed me in to her life for just a short while.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmmm.... My greatest 'skill'? Although I sometimes found it a curse in the past, I'd say my empathy. I'd love to share that with people who want to feel this place more deeply and are willing to explore it.
