About Me
CURRENT MISSION
find motivation and inspiration within others
ABOUT ME
I have been on a spiritual and educational journey for the last 10 months - through Turkey, Palastine, Egypt and now Tunisia. I am not sure exactly what my next steps are - but my mission to to visit Yemen, where my grandparents left many years ago...
I am generally always in the moment, happy to make new friends and always learning from other people. I am committed to social change and a world without patriarchy - I know our world is changing, and I am happy to be apart of it. :)
PHILOSOPHY
I have decided that the world is really based on people's judgements. It is sad to think about - but if you accept it, it is easy to aknowledge it and move on. We all make decisions based on our own judgements and they are important - but it is also fun and neccessary to try to think outside your frame of reference and open up to other people you wouldn't normally get along with. I think you can find fun and entertainment with almost anyone!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed through Italy and the southern US. I love hitchhiking, and I love being lost! Most of the journey is enjoyed just by smiling and asking questions.
Interests
I love to meet people. I think everyone has something interesting about them and I love to be the one to discover it!
I sometimes roam the streets of NY and think about how many potential people I could be friends with. There are too many potential people to meet and have relationships with. It is crazy that the world is so huge and yet there are so many people who live in it feeling alone.
Projects I am currently involved with:

Music, Movies, and Books
I love film even though I think TV is a waste of time. I love music and come from a musical family. I like to listen to almost anything, especially music you can dance to. David Sedaris and Toni Morrison are my favorite authors, but I have not read as much as I should
Must read: The Shock Doctrine by Naomi Klein
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing things happen everyday - kindness from strangers is amazing to me. Smiling at people who seem to busy for you is another favorite of mine.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my insight on how to expect the best from people. Sometimes things happen, but we just need to realize that everyone grew up differently. I want people to be more tolerant, more tolerant and more caring. I want to learn about other cultures. I want to feel more connected to other cultures.
