About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To love selflessly.
ABOUT ME
I don't believe silence should ever be awkward. I like to think before I speak. I am generally better in asking questions than answering them.
I'm a solitary creature that nevertheless needs company. I enjoy deep conversations or chitchat over a cup of tea, sharing food and music, making things, going for walks, exploring new places...
I was born in Nijmegen and studied Musicology in Amsterdam and Edinburgh. I grow restless when I stay in one place for too long. My home is this funny little blue planet I love.
PHILOSOPHY
Whether or not we find what we are seeking
Is idle, biologically speaking.
(Edna St. Vincent Millay)

Music, Movies, and Books
Laura Marling is my heroin; Harry Potter my youth obsession.
I enjoy a great variety in music, books and movies. Random names: Haruki Murakami; Salman Rushdi; Herman Hesse; T.H. White; Roald Dahl; John Green; Margaret Atwood; Angela Carter; The Dreamers; Jesus Christ Superstar; Lord of the Rings; Wes Anderson; Jim Jarmusch; J.S. Bach; Henry Purcell; Franz Schubert; Kate Bush; Johnny Flynn; Patti Smith; The Beatles; The Kinks; Neil Young; Fairport Convention; The Smiths; R.E.M. - I'm starting to feel slightly ridiculous now, naming what seems like a negligible selection of an inexhaustable well of inspiration and creation...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
