About Me

I'm a research associate at Temple University in Harrisburg, PA. I have entirely too many hobbies that keep me very busy, and I'm always looking for something new and fun to learn, do, or eat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing makes it easy to find like-minded folks who love to travel and learn about other people and share the local culture.

I haven't hosted yet, but all of my traveling experiences have been amazing. I surfed around Asia with my sisters for four months and met some amazing people. I'm open to hanging out if you find yourself in the Harrisburg, PA area!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year on my own in Australia - the first 6 months I worked on the northern beaches of Sydney as a nanny for an amazing family and for a youth hostel, and the last 6 months I traveled around the entire country, camping and hiking and meeting really amazing people. Afterwards I travelled around Southeast Asia with my younger sisters for 4 months. I've also backpacked all through Europe in 2003 and some in 2006.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you about photography or how to knit, crochet, quilt, sew, garden, make jam, or cook. What do you want to learn? We can figure it out together!
