About Me

ABOUT ME

A little bit of this, a little bit of that, but in general I am a happy-go-lucky, open-minded person, and a melancholic life-dreamer. I like long discussions, warm breezes, a straightforward and laid-back attitude, people smiling when they think no-one's watching, and the unbearable lightness of being. I do not like passive aggression (or any kind for that matter), car-races, brainwashing, boring people, bad music... My energy comes from the thriving to live my life to the fullest and the desire for adventure.

I'm also passionate about discovering and exploring new things and places, and meeting people. The best way to understand this world is to travel, expand our horizons and keep an open mind and heart to the world around us.

People who send me couch requests without reading my profile or using a message template that was copy-pasted... will get an automatic no! ✌️️😄 My apartment has a guest room with a single bed, so I prefer solo travelers over couples. Can’t accept group requests either hahaha (I have an apartment, not a hostel)...

PHILOSOPHY

In this beautiful world full of stories, I can never resist the sweet seduction of the road. There is something absolutely magical about packing all your thoughts and feelings in the backpack and following the path without a clear direction in mind. In this moment of uncertainty, reason loses its meaning. It is only you, the road, and strangers who are occasionally crossing your way...

Don't take life too seriously! You will never get out of it alive and at the end, it's not the years in life that count, but the life in your years. So never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.

I do not know where I am from or where do I belong. I am from places where people love and respect; places where I feel happy. One's belonging is always associated with people within that place and not the place itself. You are from and belong to a place where you breathe the air of happiness.

I believe in paradise. But it's not someplace you can look for because it's not where you go. It's how you feel for a moment in your life when you're a part of something, and if you find that moment, it lasts forever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet with interesting and fun people and offer a couch and a friendly environment where good vibes are both felt and shared.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met with a CouchSurfer in Hong Kong, who made me aware of this amazing platform, where I could meet with travelers from all over the world. Couchsurfing and hosting interesting people is not just inspiring and educational, but also a lot of fun ;)
