ABOUT ME

I grew up in Egypt and moved to Toronto in 2002 to study at the University of Toronto. When I graduated, I stuck around and got a job in Canada then I moved to the UK for my Masters. Stuck around there for a bit too. I've now moved back to Cairo and working in Venture Capital.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned about couch surfing through a friend just before I shipped off to Brazil for Carnaval and have been hooked ever since. I hope to return the favour by having people over and/or by showing people around Toronto. I think it's an amazing project and I am happy to be part of it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing experience has been absolutely amazing. My first try was in Brazil and I had a fantastic time and owe it all to my hosts.

Interests

I am a big cyclist and would spend most of my time on a bike if I could. Cycling to me is less of a sport than a way to explore and find places to sit and read as well as a way to to reach and find new restaurants. I'm a former long distance swimmer and still swim. An avid squash player and a movie buff (I work at a video store on wednesdays)
