Hi, I'm Tamerlan. I currently live in Gothenburg.

I discovered couchsurfing back when I used to live in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The experience was very pleasant that I was hooked from day one.

In terms of hobbies, I’m a somewhat active nerd. I enjoy reading all sorts of books, programming, and generally enjoy learning new things. On the athletic side, I used to do powerlifting extensively, but now I hang around a climbing gym 3-5 times per week. I also enjoy hiking especially in mountainous regions ( I guess it’s just in my genes as a Kazakh).

Anyways I don’t want to have a whole essay here, I’m just a guy who enjoys travelling and strives to be a good human.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a person who struggled with severe stuttering most of my life, I would say curing that and doing lots of public speaking is the proudest thing I’ve ever done.

Being able to express my thoughts without being a pain for others is a highlight of my life.
