I am an Italian national based in the sun blazed British south west coast. I am a cardiology nurse by profession and have an inesplicable interest in anything medicine, biology or chemistry related. I am a simple, social and caring person. I like outdoor sports, especially climbing and scuba diving.

About a year ago my hubby and I left what we have been working so hard for: our house, our car, our jobs and moved into a 1980 VW van, Douggie. We shipped our new home to the US and started an incredible journey. 40.000 kms, so many days, so many adventures.
From major engine break down on a desolate dirt road in Alaska 200 kms from civilization to being lost for weeks in a hippie paradise beach in mexico... I've got stories to tell!
This last year has all been about sharing, loving and caring with other fellow travellers, and I learned that all the ups and downs that life and travel bring us are fully made up for by the ecstatic and uncontrollable happiness of being free.
What a beautiful life!
