About Me

Original from Taiwan, born and studied filmmaking in Taipei. Grew up in different cities in Taiwan such as Kaohsiung, Taichung and Miaoli; working in production with filmmakers from different countries. That's how I travel and live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my friend talked about her experiences of couchsurfing, she was brave and pleasant to travel in this way. So I also told myself, to meet more people by not staying at hotels, but to experience the real local lifestyles when I travel.

The first CS experience was in Cannes, with incredibly nice JD and Nicolas, they hosted me by two separated nights. JD was recovering from trauma at that time, still he kept his promise to become my first CS host. Nicolas picked my up when there wasn't any bus after 11pm. I appreciated a lot that I had such great opportunities to meet them. Then I went to Nice, where I met John, a fabulous American guy who lives in France for years, we share experiences and I showed my film works with John's friends. I was really lucky to have a wonderful beginning.

Then later I travelled a bit in Europe. I was lucky because I met only nice and warm people! (Although my friends and I got robbed in Barcelona, we still met cool Carlos from Peru, our surprised drunk host, hehe) So I decided that if I have my own place anywhere in the world, I'd love to host travelers if anyone needs.

Interests

Love to meet new friends, share strange and interesting experiences.
Working with group of super cool nice filmmakers, and traveling in small villages or grand cities.
Staying on the beach in summer, drinking a glass of wine in winter, and watching Ichabod speaking with his British accent in TV series Sleepy Hollow :P
