I am Tamke, 25, and live with my boyfriend Nils, 26, in Augsburg near Munich in the south of Germany. We love to travel together and visited different countries in Latin America staying in Hostels. At the moment we prefer not to travel that far and are eager to visit new cities and get to know interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The house of my parents was always an open house to travellers from Couchsurfing, exchange students, au pairs and of course friends. As a child I got to know various people with different storys and from different cultures. It made me accept the variant stories of people and it made me curious to get to know new places. So now as an adult I'd like to travel this unconventional way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to hear Punk Rock (Billy Talent!) and I’m a big fan of every fantasy movie, series and book I can get my hands on, icluding of course the classics Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.
Nils often plays relaxing latin american music in our apartment. He reads mostly pedagogical literature for his studies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being for five days on a ferry on the Amazonas in Brazil from Manaus to Belém.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn facts about anything and everything (yes I'm a bit of a nerd, which will be proved with my next point) and I'm currently learning Dothraki. (That's the lenguage of the Dothraki from Game of Thrones. As I said, nerd. Although I'm far from fluent.)
I also like to mix cocktails, which is definitely a nice hobby to share.
