Overview
About Me
I am from a tiny town in South Africa near the Kruger National Park so I absolutely love nature. I am completing a degree in Environmental Management online at the moment while travelling and working in between. My main passion is ocean and environmental conservation. I love diving and exploring.
I love travelling and try do so as often as I can. I love meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and seeing new places. I'm crazy about art and do wall murals in my free time and to earn extra cash.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have joined Couchsurfing because I absolutely love travelling and meeting new people. And I feel that this is such a beautiful, open way to connect with people and places. I hope to learn more about the area I'm visiting through locals and experiencing the generosity and freedom of complete strangers. I think this is an amazing community of like minded people and it would be awesome to meet new people and see new places through this platform.
I would like to host fellow Couchsurfers (when I'm home) to show them the little slice of paradise I live in and the secret local spots. I think it is a great way to help fellow travelers in a safe way, give info about the cool stuff to do and to make new friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books
'The Far Pavilions' by M.M Kaye
'The Clan of the Cave Bear' series by Jean M. Auel
'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho
I'm a big lover of all music (not so keen on heavy metal). Examples of my favourites are Chet Faker, Sticky Fingers, Shakey Graves, FKJ, Blood Orange etc.
Big movie fan from cheesy rom-coms to action to inspirational films, just no horrors or thrillers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have done, for me, was working and travelling with marine biologist Dr Andrea Marshall in 2017. She is the first person to have done a PhD on manta rays and does amazing conservation work. I worked, traveled and dived with her around Mozambique, South Africa and Indonesia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn from fellow travelers and hosts (I am trying to learn to speak Spanish, play the guitar and surf).
I am a TEFL qualified English tutor, so I can help assist anyone learning to speak English, or wanting to improve their English. I have a lot of advice on environmental conservation and what we as individuals can do to make a positive change. I can also paint your walls if you want.
I think sharing travel stories, advice, life lessons, openness and experiences is an amazing way to connect with someone, even if you have just met them for the first time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sharing travel experiences, life lessons, murals and chats. Not accepting guests at the moment because I'm travelling but happy to give advice on the area.
