ABOUT ME

We're a couple who have been trotting across the globe for a few years now! We love exploring new cities, experiencing new cultures, eating cheap eats (particularly street food), meeting cool people, and having a good time. We can walk around for hours, are easily amused, and usually on the hunt for food/sun. We are very passionate about traveling - we're always trying to find creative ways to continue this lifestyle, finding great flight deals, and leaving for our next adventure on a whim.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since we are always on the road, we usually don't have a place of our own for other surfers to crash at. When we make it back Stateside, we're thrown back into our old rooms at our parents' :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our first time surfing was in New Zealand, and it was an awesome experience. We got to stay with some lovely hosts, who made us feel at home! We're excited to continue to surf some more, and hopefully stay at a place long enough to do some of our own hosting.

Movies. Who doesn't like movies?! I (Tammy) just can't do horror films - I'm a pansy; I'll sit there with my hands to my ears and my eyes squeezed shut, with lots of fidgeting involved.

Alternative/indie music, hip hop. A mix of everything. Happy to listen to some new tunes.

We both love to read, classics to kitsch. Always have a few, willing to share. Should we make the conversion to an E-reader? Carrying a couple books while traveling adds pounds to the bag... *UPDATE: We bought some Nooks and we're pretty happy about our decision.
