ABOUT ME

Like anyone can fit themselves in a paragraph. :) Let's go with some steriotypical introductions first: I'm an American midwesterner (Chicago accent), I don't believe America has it all figured out but I do believe we have some pretty amazing pizza! I'm a girl so of course I love eating chocolate and looking beautiful, two things I'm very good at. I have a passion for kids, especially kids who have lived through a lot. I looking at where i'm at on a map because I'm very visual and because my mom loved maps.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met some really fun people in Scottland, the US and now in France through couchsurfing!

Interests

Languages, culture, ethnic food! My interests are the same as most couchsurfers but different than the people around me! I've been slacklining for a year and I love it (still a beginner, but I can stay on for a while!) I love eating good food and cooking good food (so I can eat it:) and share it with people. I love studying maps (something I learned from my mom). I love meaningful conversations that mark a before and after in your life. I've had a bone of them, and they're beautiful :) And I love the moments when you know exactly why you're alive and no smile, laugh or tear is big enough to express it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got lost in Buenos Aires, gave a teaching in Spanish, hitch-hiked in the alps, grew up in the Gylleck household! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach English, Spanish and French (if you're new in Spanish and French!) and I can't teach you to slack line (also if you're new) I'd love to teach anything else I've learned in life (which is not too much considering I hopefully have a whole lot to figure out yet) and learn whatever it is you're willing to teach me that I would enjoy!
