I am currently on a gap year traveling Europe with plans to go back to South Africa to study at the start of 2026.

I love exploring places, and I have a good sense of adventure! When traveling to new places, I will always spend time exploring them! If there is a mountain nearby... that's where you'll probably find me!

Since the beginning of 2025, I was based in Germany, doing some mini-jobs and learning some German, but since mid- July, I have been travelling around and Volunteering in Europe.

I have the urge to travel, explore the world, experience new cultures, meet new people, try new foods, try different adventures, and travel to underrated, less discovered areas!

I'm the sort of person/ traveller who doesn't mind sleeping on the floor, walking an extra bit to save some travel expenses, finding "hidden gems" to explore or even just catching a suntan on the beach! I will definitely be trying new foods in each country I explore. My travels will be on a budget, but if I come across a must-do tour or activities... then I'll book it and think about the price at a later stage 😂🙈

I love cooking, curling up with a good book, being active, and meeting new people. I'm also a very honest person who values friendships, family and forming good connections!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently on a gap year, traveling Europe. I would like to explore as many places as I can, for as long as I can! (Hence looking to be hosted). I can't currently host due to my travels, but I would definitely love to return the kindness of people hosting me once i'm back and settled in South Africa.
