Overview
About Me
*small plastic dinosaur runs between stars*
I want to ride my bicycle and learn the fiddle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because hospitality is yet another sacred expression of humanness that has become endangered by consumer capitalism, and couchsurfing is one of many appropriate technologies for keeping it alive.
Interests
Home grown folk, raw yolk on toast i love the most, anything that grows keeps me on my toes, i hear all the Whos on the kumarahoe a'whistlin' in tune with some old English prose, singin' "Tam, shut your muffin, thou speakest too fresh; they'll nut out your interests next week in the flesh."
- singing
- cooking
- massage therapy
- cycle touring
- composting
Music, Movies, and Books
In my dream house the bookcases are made of books - I read a lot, a lot of the time.
I like watching films, good films, with chocolate and tea.
These days I'll take unamplified, unnaccompanied voices over most things. I'm learning the violin, too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sailed across the Pacific Ocean in a chinese junk rig schooner.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach:
- sourdough bread-making,
