ABOUT ME

What about me ?

Well, I was born in the South of France in Béziers, a cathar city, the cradle of my origins. I decided to study in the field of multimedia and all its branches. I finished my university cursus in Canada, at the University of Montreal.

I participate in many non-profit projects. May I add that I greatly enjoy sports : I play in a women’s rugby team and I love cross-country riding in the surrounding countryside.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to help/host if someone ask me and I would surf if I need.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used Couchsurfing since 2005, I hosted lots of people from USA, Japan, Germany, Spain, Maroc... with my roomates in Montréal, Canada and now when I can in France.

And now, for my trip, I tried to use the new system for finding and sharing with other travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mmh .. I listen a lots of music : rock, folk, traditional music, occitan music...

Movies are one of my hobbies, just because I studied cinema in Montreal. I have a mind quite critical for film, and I hate commercial movies. In most cases, I refer to my selection of directors (Wong Kar Wai, Kurosawa, Klapisch, Burton, Nolan, Miyazaki, etc.).

Reading ... I like reading but unfortunately it's not simple to find time... I try to read between my home and my work. My last books : The man in the high castle by P.K. Dick, Le dernier templier by Raymond Khoury or a biography of Stephane Hessel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Trekking on "Gunung" (volcano) in Indonesia.
- Sell pictures to touristic guides :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can discuss about my country and my region. I am a fervent defender of the Occitan language, that's the traditional language of my region.
I can show you some French cooking if you want.
