About Me
NOT ACCEPTING GUESTS TILL DECEMBER
Journalist, documentary photographer, more on the introverted side. In love with work, travelling, and collecting stories.
When I travel, I'd rather see less popular landmarks and spend more time immersing myself in the place. I like to "waste time", go off the tracks and linger. In general, though, I believe in intention and purpose. I love meeting people who make interesting choices in life.
IF YOU'RE STAYING
I host solo travelling women/couples/ solo travelling guys exactly in that priority. If you're a guy travelling alone, you have to have references from hosts/travelers. This is a serious requirement, as I'm a woman living alone. If you're two guys travelling, sorry but I can't host you. I'm sure you understand.
IMPORTANT: as a host, I do NOT have time for hangouts, showing around, getting a coffee! I prioritize other things in my free time. I prefer to spend time with guests at home.
Please read "my home" section. Care enough to write details of your trip, write about your interests - if you were a host, what kind of request would you like to receive? Think about that. You don't need to write why you want to meet me, I understand that when travelling you sometimes just want to be on your own, and that's okay. Just make me aware of your plans.
I would love to meet more photographers, filmmakers and journalists from across the world - let's share the experience.
Spanish speakers are extremely welcome! I'm always up for practice. My Spanish is ok level but there's a room for improvement.
Some advice on travelling to Georgia:
Best season? - May-October. Skip June/July if you're bad with the heat. Opt for September if you want the best seasonal fruit and wine harvest. Winter months are great for skiers if you're into it.
Getting here - If you're coming from Europe, do yourself a favor and check tickets on Wizzair and Ryanair. There are so many travelers who spent a fortune on coming here when you can fly for as low as 5 EUR (true story!)
