ABOUT ME

I am always curious. My favourite things are to walk in an unknown city, meet people and eat delicious things.

I grew up next to the beach in Australia and nothing makes me as calm as the sea.

I am often a contradiction of crazy ideas and simplicity and I like it like that! Sometimes I am quiet and sometimes I am loud, but always im interested in getting to know and understand someone. If we can cook something together all the better!

My current mission:
Starting my Masters in London and spending some time in beautiful places that aren’t as grey as London can be.

Update: now I'm studying another Masters in Torino.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I feel good when im busy and involved.
When I have a house I would love to make Australia a brighter place by hosting loads of people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on many different couches, floors, chairs and in cars, trucks, vans and converted buses. I am a secret creature of comfort, but I am used to roughing it.
I have not had a settled home since April 2022. And have been migrating between different Australian states (5 out of 7 so far) and different peoples couches. In one day in March I crossed 3 states in one day. This is not an easy feat in a land so sparse as oz.

books, tunes - trippy, jazzy and rocky + hip hop :) photography, writing, patterns, art, journals, films, animation, culture, fooooood! tea, spaces, water, mountains, sand, the sun and the moon. oh and the stars and the clouds!

Music, Movies, and Books

Ive been reading a lot of Tom Robbins novels lately, also Ali Smith, Naguib Mahfouz and Simone De Beauvoir.... I like anything that has powerful ideas and presents them in a playful way. Favourite authors- Peter Carey, Eka Kurniawan, Amin Maalouf, Haruku Murakami, Anais Nin and so many more.

philosophical views from a hard-learnt university education, and from time spent with hippies. Stories from travels and life in the Southern Hemisphere. I can give you a lesson in macrame or we can make a leather pouch. and I can cook.
I want to learn anything that you know and I dont, even if I already think I know it.
