ABOUT ME
I believe everybody always has a reason for what he does or doesn't do. That is why I try to learn not to judge anyone. I like to meet different kids of people, listen to their stories and see that there is something good and interesting in every person. I love to be reminded again and again how small the world really is.
Since I moved to study in a different country I met some really nice people from all around the world who I appreciate spending my time with. The whole experience has broadened my perspectives and it still is surprising me every day.
Sometimes though, like to be on my own reading, cooking or simply just doing things alone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For the first time I heared about couchsurfing from one of my friend. Ever since I have been collecting wonderful experiences, meeting such an interesting people and places.
Unfortunately I have only surfed so far and not hosted anyone yet. I plan to change that as soon as it is possible. I moved to the Netherlands to study my Master's in architecture here so once I find a place, settle down and have everything arranged, I will hopefully pay back for all the amazing experience I had and offer a couch as well.
However if you are in Delft, feel free to contact me and we can hang out.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience was standing at a midnight next to a London's subway with my friend waiting...and waiting. We almost started hating the whole organization when our host finaly came. We had a very pleasant talk after that and it ended up like a nice late evening.
Every other experience is a unique and wonderful memory, so I'm glad I didn't gave up on CS that winter evening in London.
Interests
I love to cook, especially when I happen to be home alone. When my boyfriend, roommates or friends then come back home and we can enjoy the meal together, those are one of the best moments. I like learning new cuisines and recipes but sometimes a typical Czech meal is what makes the day.
Studying architecture has been occupying me the last 5 years and still I am not entirely sure if that is the right thing for me to do. What I truly like is when it expands beyond conventional limits of architecture itself and becomes more complex, touching upon psychology, sociology etc. This year I will be working on a graduation project, trying to design a suitable and sensitive space for people with dementia. I am looking forward to do it as it joins multiple interests of mine.
As I am a Czech girl, meeting friends for a good beer in the evening is always a nice way to relax.
I am also very keen on reading books although there is only a little time left for it during my studies. I'll try to do better.
