Hola ! I am a professional cook and after studying Culinary in Toronto and spending a decade working here, decided i needed to change a bit of scenery, Wanting to travel and learn from my potential hosts and cultures , making my first stop in Peru for the next few months.

I'll be there November through January, and making a few stops alongs the way. hoping to meet interesting like minded people , who are as passionate about food, and animal preservation, heritage presevation as I am.

I would appreciate anything that I could learn, taste, explore and experience, at the hands of a kind host. Willing to offer what knowledge about food I've garnered over the years and services in return for generosity, knowledge of the land and food .

Music, Movies, and Books

Im an old soul when it comes to my taste in music. Bands Pink floyd, beetles, def leppard, pearl jam, eagles, dire straits, scorpions, bon jovi, G&R, Bob Marley, leadfoot, Ray Charles, buddy Guy, Elton John , Billie Joel .and so many more etc... are easy listenings for me. Newer sounds like awolnation, adele, blink 182, linkin park, MCR, greenday, SIA, Afroman, etc...

Movies that i watch all the time, LOTR, harry potter series, terry pratchett imaginings, die hard , robocop, tmnt, goonies, anything with a 4.5 star rating or more on rotten tomatoes in fantasy and fiction so , narnia series, peter pan renditions, ready player one, pans labyrinth, hobbit series(not a fan, books are wayyyy better, and its just one book) Midnight in Paris , green mile , Disney ..

Books, been an avid reader since i was a kid, read all the goosebumps first, encyclopedias, hardy boy tales, oryx and crake, day after tomorrow(not based on the disaster movie), entire Terry pratchett series, furies of calderon series, game of thrones series, harry potter series, read almost all of Jrr tolkiens books, homer, illiad and odessey etc..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my younger years , set up a new impromptu animal shelter and day care. Cleaning and tending to the needs of stray kittens and puppies that were orphaned. Still do to this day.
