CURRENT MISSION

Taking a break for a while........have done exactly a treasured year with CS full of kind, warm and unforgettable people . Can still meet up for coffee and information etc and hope to be back offering couch

ABOUT ME

Must do more drawing/painting. Both of us love food combined with conversation. We are both veggies and have been for over 20 years. Enjoy long walks and happy to take people on 'history' tours of our area if there is time and it's what you want.

PHILOSOPHY

Moved out of the city. Value peace and the time to think and talk with friends. Animal lovers though animals seem to prefer my husband's company to mine!! Artistic and therefore things have to feel and look right, around me. I appreciate beauty and good design.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Adel Lim - the best!! CS in Singapore - October 2006 - met her for a meal and a long chat. She referred us on to Greg Wade CS in south Sydney. Adel - Liverpool waits for you! Greg - kind, caring, fun, advice info, he and Reuben and Claudia helped me when I thought I had lost some luggage. How can I return the favour! We have to meet again! The CS experience is far more than can be explained! Slightly overwhelmed with the speed we were travelling at one point - we never met with Kay in Hong Kong but atleast chatted on the phone to her there. I so wish we had met. We want to return to HK - stay longer and hopefully find you next time Kay. Thank you for just being there.

兴趣

Art, reading, once had horses, we have 3 cats AND now have just acquired our Dobermann puppy........Reuben and Claudia (two CSs)who I met in Australia, know about him - Otto. I love travelling but it costs! theatre, the sun, anything - town,village, area with history.

Attend the Hay Festival, Hay on Wye, Wales - every year as we live in the same county - and just love the experience of the festival. Difficult to say any more really. Flamenco - love it...........classical music - enjoy it

New York - one week a few years ago to this amazing place. I travelled alone and stayed at the International Hostel making friends with Kerry from Scotland, four Swiss students, a couple from Australia and just had a wonderful time.

Learning all the time with CS. We get the maps out, the atlas out .we look on Google earth.....talk, listen, understand, debate and chat!! We will help if we can.
