ABOUT ME

i love tango, really connecting with people, a really good conversation, great food, espresso, and learning/teaching new things (which do not have to be new just freshly taught). I just recently discovered that I like big cities, but it is really the small quirky neighborhoods and unusual shops that I enjoy.
I think that I am just learning to really play!
I am currently living in a beautiful small town in Southern Oregon but am adventuring to live in Barcelona soon. It is a big change for me since I have worked for the same organization for >20 years, and currently do not know anyone who lives in Barcelona :~)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend suggested CouchSurfing for my upcoming trip to Barcelona. It turned out to be a far more interesting and in depth organization than I had thought, and I decided to open myself up to the possibilities of interacting with people coming to my town as well. That was sunday... on monday I received my first request. I hosted my first CouchSurfer just 2 days after joining and am so happy that I joined!! Now to try the other side of the couch :~)

Addendum: I've done a whole lot more hosting, a little surfing, and have experienced some great opportunities to connect, expand my comfort zone, and meet really interesting people!
