Hi! I enjoy meeting new people, experiencing random, off-the-beaten-path moments, meandering rather than rushing, and doing rather than wishing I had done it. All kinds of terrains attract me: tidepools, marshes, forests, sandy dunes, fields, water of all kinds, and mountains. I really enjoy rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, canoeing, running, dancing and singing in my car.

I have pretty wide-ranging tastes in all things--love roadside food, Bartok, gamelan, cello, french hip-hop, neuroscience, jellyfish, bees, Gotan Project, transparent text-laden images, Donato, old gnarled trees, Tom Waits, Argentine tango, plant hybridizing, Yo-Yo Ma, Annie Dillard, genetics, lilium, Feist, bike and horseback riding, etc....

The phosphorescent bay at La Parguerra, Puerto Rico on a moonless night; an ampitheatre of stars and fireflies on a mountain in Vermont; a strange rash of washed-up sea birds on Great Island, Wellfleet, MA (still don't know WHAT happened there); Walking among the silent, majestic redwoods at Muir Nat. Forest...

I know a thing or two about horticulture in this area--I'd be happy to either show you around or point you in the right direction...we live in the horicultural mecca featuring Longwood Gardens, Morris and Scott Arboretums, Ott's (a kooky but-not-to-be-missed place in Schwenksville PA) and other places....Oh yeah, and Fairmount Park runs through the area nearby and that has amazing places for mountain biking, hiking, running, even rock climbing and bouldering (Livezy rock)...Fairmount park is full of old growth forests-- featuring beech and tulip trees.
