My name is Tanguy and I'm a 26 year old guy living in Lausanne, Switzerland. At the moment I'm doing internships as part of the 6th year of medicine studies. I grew up in Switzerland but my mother is french so I got impregnated by both cultures. Travelling as a child with my parents sparked my interest to travel by myself, meet people and discover other cultures. I've been very fortunate to travel a lot those last years : I've worked in a farm in Japan, in Spain, in a café in Peru, did an erasmus in Lisbon for a year and a semester in Paris. My last trip was in Egypt to learn a bit of arabic and it was amazing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people, share experiences and thoughts about many different things. Couchsurfing is a great opportunity for this and also allows you to discover the country of the host through his/her experience which is awesome and very enriching!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music except metal. I love Jazz, Brasilian music, world music, etc.
The last movie I watched and really like was the Duel by Ridley Scott. I used to watch more movies but I really like watching a good movie :).
Those alst years I've read books in the language of the country I've travelled to. For example with Portugal : Pessoa, Mario de Sa Carneiro, José Saramago, etc. With spain and Peru, Mario Vargas Llosa, Mario Benedetti, Julio Cortazar, Ernesto Sábato. It's been really nice!
