Hi there!

Here is what I wrote about 4 years ago now :)

"It is a difficult task to describe oneself in a few words or sentences. I am also curious as to what extent is one's own description is relevant and accurate.

Anyway here are some things about me : I am not very talkative even though I am friendly. I am not demanding on every day life matters, I try to always be polite and respectful of others. I can also be very patient.

I am not sure whether this is always true but it is certainly true that I always try to be a good person.

I guess I should also say that I'm a great lover of beauty and life.

I find myself inspired by spirituality and wisdom in particular Tibetan Buddhism."

But in more traditional terms, I'm now a PhD student in Physics at Cambridge in the UK. I come from the Alps in France but also have roots in Brittany where I spent most of my free time. I also lived for 4 years in Montreal, Canada.

As you can find below I have many center of interests and really enjoy to discover the world and people from all kinds of perspectives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I mostly travel now for work purposes i.e. conferences, summer schools etc... But also sometimes on backpacking trips or simply for small visits of place.

Like I said above, I really enjoy to discover the world and people from all kinds of perspectives, and so staying over at someone's house for a night or two while discovering a city is ideal.
