Overview
About Me
I am a university researcher, primarily focused on psychology, with a particular interest in emotional health. My spouse is also a university researcher, specializing in the field of social work. We have a three-year-old son and live together with my parents-in-law. We live in a three-bedroom apartment, and one independent bedroom is available for guests to stay in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In 2013, I attended an academic conference in Los Angeles, USA, and found accommodation through Couchsurfing, where I stayed for a week. It was a wonderful experience. Now, we live in Beijing, where we have stable jobs and a home. We hope to meet friends from all over the world, and we also hope our child can grow up with a more open perspective.
Interests
My biggest interest is writing academic papers and submitting them for publication... Sounds a little boring for many people...
Since having a child, my main passion has shifted to grow together with him and traveling with him across China and the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’m planning to start a psychological club at my university to help those struggling with social anxiety. If successful, I’ll work to expand it to other universities.
