Overview
About Me
My name is Tania I was born in Belarus but I am living in Spain since I was 5, actually almost seventeen years.
I used to live in a town near to Barcelona, but currently I am living in Barcelona with one of my best friends.
I am on my last year in the University of the degree of Nutrition and Dietetics. I really love what I studied and what I can get in the future with the knowledge I adquired ( I am not a fanatic of the healthy food, but maybe I can give you some advices if you are interested in).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on CS because the summer of 2015, my best friend Sara and I did a trip from Berlin to Barcelona by hitchhiking.
We met each other in the main train station in Berlin, because the days before we both were doing a volunteering workcamp. I was in Germany and Sara was in Russia. So our starting point was Berlin.
During almost a month we were using CS to meet new people and new places, to know more about the habits and customs of every place where we stayed, to have a place where to stay... It was amazing.
Interests
I used to do athletics, but I quit when I moved to Barcelona, I didn't have much time because of the work and the University. However I still go for a run and I do some physical exercise to keep a healthy lifestyle. I really enjoy it.
I like to read books, it is always a good option. I am used to read 3-4 books at the same time (different genre, language, thematic, etc.) and depending on the mood of the day I take one or another one. You know, any place is a good place to read, just take the appropriate book for the moment.
Above all, I love travelling! To meet new people of all over the world, different cultures, ways of thinking, traditions and to discover the world little by little. It is the best way of grow as a person.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some years ago, I used to listen heavy metal music. Nowadays I listen a little bit of everything, any song is a good song if you like it. Lately I am really interested in songs in other languages (italian, portuguese, mexican, french, etc.)
I cannot remember my favorite movie but I can tell some that I liked: The Experiment, Memento, Avatar, Interestelar, Coco, Shutter Island, etc.
Currently I am reading:
- A Room of One's Own - Virginia Woolf
- Il giorno della civetta - Leonadro Sciascia
- Mindfulness on the go. Simple Meditation Practices You Can Do Anywhere - Jan Chozen Bays
- Hablarán de Nosotras. Diecisiete mujeres poderosas que pecaron para ser libres - Sandra Barneda
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some of my best memories are when I did the trip with my best friend by hitchhiking, working in Norway in the Fishmarket, my Erasmus in Budapest, the international workcamps and Mexico.
