Overview
About Me
Hey, I’m Tetiana (with an e), I’m Ukrainian 🇺🇦
I just recovered my couchsurfing account… and oh my gosh, who was this person? Last time I used this app in 2019, I was an Erasmus student in Gdansk, Poland and now I’m in Poland again, but in Warsaw, fleeing the war in my home country… who would’ve guess it, right?
Anyway, let’s save the drama for another day. I just need you to know that I hate everything russian and this feeling is growing every day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I miss people connections. Firstly covid and now war - I’m 23 and I’m all grown up. I definitely love the independence part of it, but I also still wanna be young and free. I feel a great need to meet new nice people, and I mean it when I say it.
Interests
Except for what I already mentioned (the order of things is strange in here, so you probably will find what I mean further reading my profile), currently I’m interested a lot in meeting new high quality people. What I mean? Those who have stories to share, who experienced a lot in life, who’ve been up and down, who want to be heard and also would like to listen. People filled with live energy, because I guess I’m lacking it rn.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love weird stuff. So I can basically enjoy every kind of music, but these guys are probably my forever love: Girl in red, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Oasis, Harry Styles, Florence and the Machine, Of Monster and Men, Talking Heads, you better stop me before I get to Ukrainian folks, and believe me - they are amazing too!
As I said, I love weird stuff. I love festival movies - arthouse and experimental films, the ones they don’t usually show on big screens. Also I like to explore old films and I have a guilty pleasure - high school romance and if you add some mystery or supernatural vibe in it - it’s a perfect recipe for me. So far, I would say that my favourite movie is “Vicky Cristina Barcelona”.
Books… to be quiet honest the books I have read recently were nerdish, because it was for studying - leadership, behavioural economics, marketing strategies, you know that kind of books, but a lot of them were good actually! Oh, and I think the last one was Autobiography of Helmut Newton - a a German jew fashion photographer - fascinating!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I currently live in Poland, because me and my family decided to give our apartment to people who no longer have one. For how long? I don’t know.
Teach, Learn, Share
You wanna know about Ukrainian culture and traditions - just ask me and I won’t shut up! I’m a creative one - I’m keen on photography both digital and film; I paint (mostly oil or acrylics), I had been dancing professionally for half of my life and now I do yoga. Also, I like cooking, but when it’s a whole process - interesting and complicated. And I absolutely love learning new things, so just give it to me.
