ABOUT ME

Soy de Medellin, colombia. Me gustan las cosas sencillas. La gente, la conversacion...el bosque, las playas, la brisa, bailar, hacer fotos, escuchar musica en vivo, comer, crear, escuchar.

From the lively Medellin. I like the sun, the beach, the forests, the breeze, sounds, dancing, making photos, creating... Im officially studying dance, although I've always thought that life itself is a game where we need to learn the most out of every situation, call it dance or travel or human interaction... the thing for me is to constantly be moving.

PHILOSOPHY

La simplicidad, la humildad, la conciencia, la fuerza. Estamos aca por tiempo limitado entonces mas vale ser amoroso.

Simplicity, humbleness, awareness, strengh. We are all part of this, and for quite limited time, so i think its better to (sometimes work hard to) be nice :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Amo viajar. Conocer los lugares turisticos puede ser divertido, pero estoy mas interesada en conocer a la gente, sentir la cultura y conectarme con un espacio.

I love travelling. Seeing the turisitic higlights may be fun, but Im more interested in meeting the people, feeling the culture and connecting with real spaces with history and history in the making.

Interests

Me gustan las artes, la fotografia, la musica. Las experiencias culturales, montar en bicilceta, estar afuera, comer helado, conocer a gente, tener conversaciones.

I LOVE DANCE. Arts, photography, music. I love cultural experiences, (and anything really) related to riding bicycles, eating icecream, being outdoors, meeting local people, dancing...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies, it varies... Lately Ive been watching more documentaries that movies I think.. But, from UP to Old Boy... Independent movies more than Hollywood really, since I find this american-centered content is usually kinda sexist and dumb.

Music, From Vybz Kartel and J. Cole, ella fitzgerald, rolling stones, incubus, sublime, john mayer, lianne la havas, the xx, alt-j, to hector lavoe, bob marley, maria rita, choquibtown, chavela vargas, and cultura profetica!

I like lots of stuff, as well as sharing and getting to know different things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dancing samba at Pedra do Sal in Rio de Janeiro... Beaches in Tayrona (Colombia)... Fall in Vancouver... in other words: culture, nature and being outdoors.
