About Me
ABOUT ME
ALL about me? Hehe... I'm a 23 years old Brazilian girl that's currently studying medicine in Lille, France. I love sports (mainly the ones you practice in water, swimming, water polo, surf, windsurf, kitesurf, paddle...) I love water in general and it is my belief that the biggest mistake we made as a race was getting out of water, whales clearly did the right reasoning.
I love life and everything that derivates from it, I love my life, I love studying and trying to understand life via biology, I love to see others making the most of they're lives. The awareness of being alive is responsible for a constant feeling of amazeness, which is basically responsible for the fact that I'm always extremely happy (always).
On my free time I like to travel, I'm a museums lover and I cannot get enough of them.
For me the main purpose of traveling is meeting new people, sharing new cultures and trying to understand how others see the world, as Victor Hugo once said: the mind grows with what it receives, the heart with what it gives.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a book fanatic, I can't remember the last time that I wasn't reading anything, I looove literature, my favorite writer is Gabriel Garcia Marquez, I think I'm 2 books away of having read everything he ever published... I don't love it all though, my absolute favorite is definitely Amor en los tiempos del colera, followed closely by 100 anos de soledad. My second favorite writer has to be Kundera, The Unsustainable Lightness of Being moved me as even real life oftenly isn't capable of, highly recommend this book! The rest I read from him was very good, but not as fantastic as this one.
Le Petit Prince from Antoine de Saint Exupery was my favorite book from the first time I read it (I was about 11) to the day I read my first Garcia Marquez, it still a book that I love, it's a children book that many adults could benefit from reading.
Other writers that I like:
Victor Hugo
Umberto Eco
Tolkiens
HP
Douglas Adams
Saramago
Balzac
Moliere
Camus
Verissimo (father and son)
and many many others..
