Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music, with the exception of people that scream into microphones and call that a song!
Hit me with Musical Theatre, Electronic, House, Country, Pop, Rock, whatever! But the biggest smile you'll get from me is if you put up some oldies, Jazz, Blues and Soul... Oh yeah...
My favourite movie... hard one! We'll talk more about that in person!
Books? I have a crush in the Little Prince since I was a kid, but I love History Romances, Adventure, even cook books, haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I always have trouble when asked this question, it always seems like you're bragging a bit too much, specially because I haven't climbed Kilimanjaro, or walked the Camino de Santiago or even spent a Summer volunteering in Africa.
Although, according to my friends, I am one of the most courageous people they know. And this is because, back in 2008 I decided to actually follow my dream.
After taking a normal 4 year degree in Environmental Health (ask me about it, it's not that interesting anyway, haha) and working a normal 9-6 company job for a year, I had been craving being on stage so I decided to enrol in a Summer Workshop, just to get the bug tamed down for a while. 3 days after this workshop ended I got a call from the teacher, offering me a permanent position in the company he worked for, as a paying actress!!! Of course (after much thought...not really, but still) I said yes, and I've been a professional payed actress ever since!
I don't regret my choice one bit, and even during tougher times I'm glad I made that choice. You only have a certain amount of time to live, you might as well spend it doing what you love!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you basic Portuguese, I can teach you how to make a mean lasagna (sauces from scratch and all!), and I'd love to share my stories, and listen to yours back!!!
