Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience new people, places and things whilst keeping old friends at the centre of my life
ABOUT ME
I live in Dakar, a fantastic place to live with so much to do, so many great people and such wonderful parties! I love to travel, to try new foods and to throw myself into adventure. I adore my friends and love new people. I want excitement and thrills in life and to learn as much as I can!
PHILOSOPHY
For now I'll say smile, be friendly and try to open conversations with people you come into contact with day to day, try and help people when you can. People are the basis of my existenece, without them, I see very little joy in the world - nothing's as good as when you have someone to share it with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I found CS when I was living in Salvador, Brazil and I felt like my world had opened up! I have mostly surfed and shown surfers around Oxford at home in England. I'm looking to host more.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to list. Enjoyable books include Steinbeck, Allende, Borges, Cervantes, Jane Austen, Pessoa (Portuguese literature in general), Quevedo, Atwood....
I love classical music - chamber stuff especially. Again, too many to list. If I were on a desert island and had to choose just three composers to listen to for the rest of my life i would choose: Bach, Haydn, Schubert....maybe Dvorak.....or Mozart.....or maybe even Mahler...difficult.
I also love Latin American music like Silvio Rodriguez (and general música protesta), Joao Gilberto, Elis Regina and a lot of Bossa Nova, Samba and Forro. Salsa and Tango go without saying.
Thanks to friends I also like Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Mercury Rev, Belle and Sebastian, Radiohead, Antony and the Johnsons, Paul Robeson and I am open to many more musical adventures in the non-classical world.....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving in Mozambique. Skydiving over the Namib desert. Hitchhiking in the Basque Country. Trekking in Kyrgyzstan. Brazil.
