ABOUT ME

I joined CS to explore; meet new people, try new languages, eat new food, get lost in new streets, and breathe Eastern air. I am an adventurer at heart. Whether it is climbing the tree in my back yard, or meeting new friends around the world. I love to cook and I prefer to be outdoors.
I do not smoke and would prefer to stay with others that do not smoke in their home, but other than that I am very flexible.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a quiet soul. I try to spend more time listening than talking but enjoy sharing my personal stories. I believe that if you can't own up to something, don't do it. I believe in being the same person no matter who I am around; integrity is not temporary, and it is an important quality to me. My favorite poem "Desiderata" does a beautiful job of summarizing a philosophy that I have adopted. If you have not read it, you should sometime.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Spent an amazing month in Europe surfing. I am finally settled enough to begin returning the favor and hopefully host many unique people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Good company, good scenery and good times have encouraged me to couch surf at friends and friends of friends around the US but mostly in the mountains of CO. Amazing experiences with couchsurfing in both Spain and Italy. Thank you guys, my travels and my life are richer from the experience!

Centres d'intérêt

Anything outdoors. Looking at art (I don't know much about it, but I enjoy it for what it is made for!), Listening to music, cooking/eating, DANCING, singing out of key and spinning in the rain. I love water (get me on a beach, boat, tube, ski, or just in a warm shower and I am one happy soul) and snow (I will sled on anything ...beer boxes, plastic bags, thermarests... and love to snowboard. I am not an expert at anything, but I am mediocre at many and love having room for improvement. I laugh hard and often, usually at myself and sometimes with others even if I don't know what they are laughing at.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Books: Memnoch the Devil, The Davinci Code, Do they Hear you when you cry? Their Eyes Were Watching God, Life of Pi. I look forward to being able to read many more.
Movies: Classic favorites: Goonies and Dirty Dancing. I have a terrible movie memory and can rewatch many of them without remembering the ending; makes for easy entertainment! I like all kinds of movies; comedies, Documentaries, chickflicks, mystery, horror, and action.
My music must provide some variety, I have every genera in my library (really) I have recently been hooked on local artists who write their own songs and perform mainly acoustic music.

Climbed Kilimanjaro. No, not really, but I have done many amazing things on a much smaller scale and will be happy to share (hopefully over a cup of coffee or wine)
